Robot Tercanggih

Klik to more clearly ! ! !

Invention of New Technologies Solar Panels That Generate Electricity and Hydrogen

NBA 2K13

NBA 2K13

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

NBA 2K13 is a basketball video game developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports. It was released on October 2, 2012 in North America for the Xbox 360PlayStation PortablePlayStation 3Microsoft Windows and Wii. A version for the Wii U was also released as a launch title in North America and Australia. Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City ThunderBlake Griffin of the Los Angeles Clippers and Derrick Rose of theChicago Bulls are the cover athletes.[1] NBA 2K13 is the successor to NBA 2K12 in the NBA 2K series.

Gameplay

Like its predecessors, NBA 2K13 simulates NBA basketball games. One of the game's new control features allocates dribbling to the right analog stick on the controller, much like EA's NBA Live series. This allows a better 1-on-1 offensive feel to the game. The game retains the "My Player" mode, now renamed "My Career" There are new features in the mode which include more off-court activities such as endorsement deals (including creating one's own shoe, which has greater details of the shoe itself than in "NBA 2K12") complex contract negotiations, a social media component "Twitter", the ability to choose the player's pre-game rituals and clothing during events, the ability to talk with the general manager after games, and the ability to have the player speak before tip-off in games. A variety of past players and teams are available, including the 1992 Dream Team, but unlike previous installments, there is no dedicated historical mode. It is not necessary to complete history challenges in order to unlock the classic teams, of which there are over 20. A new added team, the "Celeb Team", includes celebrities such as Justin Bieber, Bow Wow, Sean Kingston, Wale, and Meek Mill. The game also has a new mode called MyTeam. In the MyTeam mode a player can be the manager of a team and compete against other players on Xbox Live. [2] Another new addition is the NBA store in the My Career menu. This allows the player to buy clothes, accessories, hats, team gear, etc. Another difference from the other games in the series are the VC or "Virtual currency" that the player earns in order to buy these items from the store. These coins are to be used for purchases or used as "skill points", as in the previous games of the series. They can also be used to boost one's My Player attributes, to buy new players, coaches, arenas, etc. for My Team, and to purchase players for the NBA Blacktop game mode. New this year is the "My Player Blacktop" game mode, which allows the gamer to show off My Players skills with other users' My Players online in a game to 21.

[edit]Development

Around mid-June 2K Sports announced a 'Uncover the Cover' where the more tweets #NBA2K13 got the more clues would be revealed about the cover athletes. 2K also announced NBA 2K13's compatibility with Kinect for the Xbox 360. On May 3, 2012, 2K Sports announced that as a bonus for pre-ordering the game, buyers would receive downloadable content for an All Star Weekend, which would feature the Slam Dunk ContestThree Point ContestRising Stars Challenge, and the NBA All Star Game.[3]
Jay-Z serves as executive producer of the game. He has been credited with the idea of having both the 1992 and 2012 United States men's national basketball teams in the game.[4] Initially,Scottie Pippen was left out of the game due to the inability to secure use of his likeness. However, after widespread disappointment from fans over his absence, he was then added to the team roster.[5]

[edit]PC version

Two days before the October 2nd release, 2K Sports announced via a reply to a fan on Twitter that the downloadable PC version was delayed to October 16.[6] The release date on Amazon was subsequently changed to October 30th.[7] The game was also distributed as a limited disc-based release and was found to have been missing some key features from the console versions. Online matchmaking with friends is unavailable and "Blacktop 3 vs 3", and "My Teams" modes have been removed. The game's virtual currency system and the features associated with the currency system (such as unlockable Blacktop Stars and MyCloset) have not ported over from the console versions. In addition, advanced lighting features available on consoles, such as self-shadowing are also unavailable.[8] Custom soundtracks and DLC (including pre-order DLC) have been excluded as well.

The Rise of the Robot Era: Population Will Exceed 1 Million Worldwide by 2010

Asimorobot_48An eminent roboticist is warning the people of Earth that we must prepare defenses against the rise of the robots.  But for once it isn't Dr Cyboz doing so from the top of an overloading Cyber-Tower - in fact, he hasn't even built the rebelling robots.  And an article in the journal Science hardly counts as a desperate rallying cry.

The scientist in question is Professor Noel Sharkey of the University of Sheffield, who's noticed that there are something like five and a half million robots in action in the private sector and said "Crikey, that's a lot."  Especially since there are expected to be more than twice that by 2010, because if there's one thing the movies have taught us it's that a geometrically increasing population of robots is nothing to worry about.
Prof Sharkey's point is that while public interest in robotics has increased, the public's protection against them hasn't - and we're not talking desperate bands of fleshy rebels, we're talking about the real weaponry of the modern age: legislation.  The only legal framework applied to robotics is the usual "try not to build anything that actively kills people" boilerplate, and while that's a very good rule it hardly covers the complexity of human-robot interactions.
So far there haven't been too many problems because the early-adopters that have machines in the home tends to be tech-savvy - they're not the kind of people who need boldface instructions like "DO NOT TAKE A BATH WITH YOUR ROBOT WHILE JUGGLING CHAINSAWS."  Besides, there's only so much damage a vacuum cleaner can do.  But with increasingly interactive robots on the way, Sharkey foresees serious psychological issues in the offing and urges consideration of the moral and ethical factors.
A problem with this is that the leading source of robotic funding is the military, whose ethical factors tend to start with "Will it kill them quickly?" and end with "If not, will we get caught?"  Even the makers of your rascally Roomba are deeply into defense.  That's not necessarily a bad thing - of all the employers in the wold, the army are the ones we'd most like to use machines instead of people (unless you're volunteering to get shot at while clearing minefields).
The real problem is that there's a real distance between realising the importance of some Laws of Robotics and making them actually happen. As long as there are defense dollars and private sector payoffs to be had, you need more muscle than "actually being the beardies who build the things" to get a say in the result.  Governments simply won't get involved fast enough until after the first accident or ten.
Machines are going to be great, and robots will help in a million different ways - but if you actually want to be safe, you may have to go hide under Crystal Mountain.  We hear John Connor is looking for some extra help.

NBA

National Basketball Association

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The National Basketball Association (NBA) is the pre-eminent men's professional basketball league in North America. With thirty franchised member clubs (29 in the United States and one in Canada), the NBA is widely considered to be the premier men's professional basketball league in the world. It is an active member of USA Basketball (USAB),[1] which is recognized by FIBA (also known as the International Basketball Federation) as the national governing body for basketball in the United States. The NBA is one of the four major North American professional sports leagues. NBA players are the world's best paid sportsmen, by average annual salary per player.[2]
The league was founded in New York City on June 6, 1946, as the Basketball Association of America (BAA).[3] The league adopted the name National Basketball Association in 1949 after merging with the rival National Basketball League (NBL). The league's several international as well as individual team offices are directed out of its head offices located in the Olympic Tower at 645 Fifth Avenue in New York City. NBA Entertainment and NBA TV studios are directed out of offices located in Secaucus, New Jersey.

The Beatles

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Beatles were an English rock band formed in Liverpool in 1960. They became the most commercially successful and critically acclaimed act in the history of popular music.[1] Their best-known lineup consisted of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. Rooted in skiffle and 1950s rock and roll, they later utilised several genres, ranging from pop ballads to psychedelic rock, often incorporating classical and other elements in innovative ways. In the early 1960s, their enormous popularity first emerged as "Beatlemania", but as their songwriting grew in sophistication, they came to be perceived by many fans and cultural observers as an embodiment of the ideals shared by the era's sociocultural revolutions.
They built their reputation playing clubs in Liverpool and Hamburg over a three-year period from 1960. Manager Brian Epstein moulded them into a professional act and producer George Martin enhanced their musical potential. They gained popularity in the United Kingdom after their first single, "Love Me Do", became a modest hit in late 1962. They acquired the nickname the "Fab Four" as Beatlemania grew in Britain over the following year, and by early 1964 they had become international stars, leading the "British Invasion" into the United States pop market. From 1965 on, the Beatles produced what many critics consider their finest material, including the innovative and widely influential albums Rubber Soul (1965), Revolver (1966), Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (1967), The Beatles (1968), and Abbey Road (1969). After their break-up in 1970, they each enjoyed successful musical careers. Lennon died in 1980 after having been shot by a deranged former fan, and Harrison died of lung cancer in 2001. McCartney and Starr remain active.
The Beatles have had more number-one albums on the British charts and sold more singles in the UK than any other act. According to the RIAA, as of 2012 they have sold 177 million units in the US, more than any other artist. In 2008, they topped Billboard magazine's list of the all-time most successful "Hot 100" artists. As of 2012, they hold the record for most number-one hits on the Hot 100 chart with 20. They have received 7 Grammy Awards from the American National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, an Academy Award for Best Original Song Score and 15 Ivor Novello Awards from the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors. Collectively included in Time magazine's compilation of the 20th century's 100 most influential people, the Beatles are the best-selling band in history, with EMI Records estimating sales of over one billion units
